Hemp House Eco Build

Construction of new eco-hemp house with structural timber framework, hemp walls, metal & wildflower grass roofs, geocell insulated floors, wood fibre, sheep’s wool insulation and wood wall board instead of plasterboard, lime plaster throughout, with breathable paints, underfloor heating with ASHP and designer bathrooms and kitchen. Farm House Conversion

Renovation of existing farmhouse and extension to incorporate two barns. Complete re-build of the two barns and renovation of the farmhouse. Douglas fir A frame cut roofs, extensive stonework alterations and natural slate roofing. Geocell insulated floors, woodfibre insulation and boarding with lime plaster. Continental alloy composite windows and doors. Polished concrete floors, with underfloor heating and ground source heat pump. Hand built kitchen and timber gallery.

Bake House Renovation

Renovation of a derelict listed bakehouse into a two bedroom cottage. Extensive re-build with new stonework and new slate roofs. Complicated stone renovation work, flag stone floors with underfloor heating and ASHP wood fibre and sheep's wool insulation, lime plastering and bespoke fitted kitchen and bathrooms

Farm House Extension

Large two bedroom extension to a listed farmhouse using traditional (Tolsis) stone and natural slate. We conducted a complicated demolition of part of the existing building, preserving the 15thcentury cob chimney and associated timber works. We installed a hand built kitchen and solid oak floor. Extensive ground works with new sewage treatment plant and flagstone patio with stone walls were also carried out.

Basement Conversion

Reduce dig to increase headroom along with the uncovering and removal of redundant Victorian drainage system. Discovery of bonded well and live spring. Installation of piped drainage system with geocell medium and sump pump chamber. Rennovation and re-pointing of stone work in traditional lime mortar, new tiled floor and renewal of ceiling joists with steel supports and lime plaster finish.
